Transmission leakage

Transmission lock


Phenomenon: The car is in normal driving, the refueling speed is very high, but the speed is very slow, and the brake speed is reduced to a certain extent. Change to manual found hanging in a gear can not lift the gear, that is, the transmission locked in a gear, no longer shift.


Fault cause: the input and output signals of the gearbox are incorrect, or the components themselves or the lines are bad, and sometimes there are problems with the communication between the gearbox computer and other system computers.


The car in gear won't move


Phenomenon: After the car starts, the gear is suspended in D or R gear, and the vehicle does not react after releasing the brake and does not move forward. Manual hanging 1 gear, loosen the clutch, the car does not run.


Cause of failure: The transmission input shaft or reverse gear clutch may be damaged, or the D/R brake is damaged. It can also be caused by a leak in the transmission, a serious lack of transmission fluid, or a loosening of the link or cable between the car shift lever and the manual valve rocker arm, causing the manual valve to remain in neutral or park gear.


Shift impact

Failure cause: May be the transmission oil is too dirty, resulting in the valve body stuck. Just replace the transmission oil.

Shift too long or too short

Transmission slip

The transmission oil replacement cycle is based on the number of kilometers traveled or the use time, and if the maintenance manual gives these two indicators at the same time, generally whichever indicator comes first will be executed.

• Automatic transmission oil: It is recommended to change according to the mileage of 40,000-60,000 km or every two years.

• Manual transmission: recommended for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers for the first time, later every 60,000 kilometers to check and replace once, can be adjusted according to the specific driving environment.
