Three details that are easily overlooked in car maintenance! Did you get it?
Car maintenance is a cliché problem, but in car maintenance, there are still some details that are easily overlooked; and once these details lack normal maintenance, it is easy to have unimaginable consequences.
01
#Electrical connectors
Except for a few important electrical connectors, most of the other connectors are made of copper-zinc alloy.
Under normal circumstances, its reliability is guaranteed, but if the car runs in a high temperature, high humidity and bumpy environment for a long time, these joints may cause loose, rust, poor contact and other faults, and some strange electrical faults are mostly caused by this.
Therefore, during routine maintenance, the joints of the computer, sensor, fuel injector and other components on the vehicle should be checked.
02
#Ignition coil
Many people know that spark plugs need to be replaced regularly, but they neglect the maintenance of other parts of the ignition system, such as ignition high-voltage wires.
When the engine is running, there are often tens of thousands of volts of high-voltage pulse current on the ignition line. Because it works in a high temperature, dusty and vibrating environment for a long time, it is inevitable to age or even damage.
Therefore, like spark plugs, it is also a consumable that needs to be replaced frequently. Aging and breakage of ignition wire will greatly reduce ignition energy, increase engine fuel consumption, power decline, serious will cause fire failure, which is fatal for engines with three-way catalyst.
According to foreign experience, even if there is no fault, every 20,000 kilometers or so ignition high-voltage line needs to be replaced. Many domestic owners often wait until the engine runs unstable or even fails to start before they think of checking the ignition system, but at this time, the fuel wasted due to potential damage to ignition system components and the wear caused to the engine far exceed its own value.
In addition, parts such as distributor cover, distributor head, ignition coil and spark plug in ignition system should also be included in routine maintenance and inspection scope.

#Automotive Chassis Components
Because the automobile chassis is basically not observed, it is often ignored in the maintenance process, and there are many parts that are easily damaged on the chassis. The parts that are prone to failure are mainly concentrated in:
① Shock absorber
Oil leakage is a precursor to shock absorber damage. In addition, driving bumps on bad roads are obviously aggravated or braking distances are also signs of shock absorber damage.
② Suspension control arm rubber sleeve
After the rubber sleeve is damaged, the vehicle will have a series of faults such as deviation and swing, even if it is four-wheel positioning. If the chassis is carefully inspected, damage to the rubber sleeve can easily be detected.
③ Steering rod
Loose steering tie rods are a serious safety hazard, so be sure to check this area carefully during routine maintenance.
The method is very simple: hold the pull rod and shake it hard. If there is no shaking, everything is normal. Otherwise, replace the ball head or pull rod assembly.
④ Exhaust pipe
The exhaust pipe is one of the most vulnerable parts of the underbody, so don't forget to take a look when repairing it. Especially exhaust pipes with three-way catalysts should be carefully inspected.
Careful observation and feeling, but also can find some minor problems in advance of the car, please timely car maintenance.
